Can I ship sliders and bumpers to my house?
No. Sliders and bumpers will not be shipped to a residential address. They are shipped truck freight and can be shipped to a business address with loading dock or forklift or picked up at the closest freight facility to your billing address. We are currently using Old Dominion Freight but that is subject to change. The nearest Freight facility is listed in the "Ship to" area of your invoice.
Can I ship to a P.O. Box?
No. All shipments from Hefty Fabworks must be to a physical address. No P.O. Boxes or Military A.P.O. Boxes.
Do your bumpers affect airbag functionality?
No, one misconception of airbags is that they are triggered by impact to the bumper, this is not true. There are sensors that activate the deployment of the airbag. Sensors are located either in the front of the vehicle in the passenger or engine compartment. Different types of sensors measuring wheel speed, seat occupant status, brake pressure and impact, and other vehicle status indicators are monitored by the airbag control unit located in the front portion of the cabin. The sensors relay signals to the airbag control unit, which analyzes the data and can orchestrate safety features like seat belt lock, automatic door locks, as well as airbag deployment.
I missed a sale, can I still get the sale price?

Why does my tire carrier move?
Tire carrier mounts are on a linear mounting plane, movement in the tire carrier is not uncommon and considered normal. Due to the higher point of weight, the tire becomes a fulcrum and can cause minor movements to be exaggerated. Our tire mounts are adjustable and setting the tire to the lowest position will reduce the amount of movement noticed.
My tire carrier is making rattling noises.
The latch system in Hefty Fabworks bumpers uses a round rubber stop. Rattle occurs when the rubber stop softens over time. To eliminate rattling, a washer can be placed behind the rubber stop to space it out. If you need a new rubber stop, please contact Hefty Fabworks for service parts.
Can I customize my order?
On production items we do not offer modifications or customizing outside of the option selections listed on the website. No employee of Hefty Fabworks is authorized to make custom changes or alterations to the product orders. If you want a custom color on your product, we recommend you order the product bare metal so you can choose a color after you receive it.
